The Mana Node only appears at midnight. Also, there will spawn four Guardian of Zjiria to protect it.

To be able to access the portal to Martyr's Battleground (area) you need to drop all of the councilor's artifacts in the middle of the stone circle, then cast Martyr's Battleground.
Ensure you've got enough Relic of Qor with you when doing that.
Ensure you've got enough to eat with you, you need to jump on the stone circle which is impossible with less than 10 Vigor.
The portal stays open as long as there are players inside Martyr's Battleground (area).
